GOD THE FATHER or simply GOD is the ULTIMATE SOURCE of all knowledge, power, authority, and CREATOR of the spirits of all. HE is the HIGH and LOFTY ONE WHO INHABITS ETERNITY (Isaiah 57:15), so high above everyone and everything that mankind cannot comprehend HIM, apart from revelation through Jesus. (Matthew 11:27; Isaiah 55:8-9) Unlike Jesus, no person has ever seen HIM for HE is a SPIRIT that lives far beyond Earth with Jesus. (Isaiah 57:15) GOD THE FATHER will ultimately be honored above all, for when everything is subjected to Jesus, then Jesus will bow the knee to GOD THE FATHER. (1 Corinthians 15:27-28)

HE is the very definition of holiness, love, purity, and justice. He is the eternal ANCIENT OF DAYS who will judge all, with a justice refined from perfect purity and love. HE hates all the wicked which harm the poor and meek; HE is a PROTECTOR of the needy and righteous, surrounding HIMSELF with only the purest and most godly in HIS Holy Temple far beyond Earth. Despite this HE has a sense of humor, rolling HIS eyes at man's ignorance (Acts 17:30) and laughing at the rulers of the Earth as they plot to rebel against HIM and His Annointed. (Psalms 2:2-6)

Etymology[edit]

The Tetragrammaton YHWH commonly used to refer to the God of the Israelites in the Old Testament is pronounced 'Jahd-Hah-Vah-Hah' similar to 'J@hovah.' In Psalms 68:4 it is translated as "JAH" or transliterated as "YAHH" from the Hebrew.[1] They are all ways to pronounce the same name. HE is also SHADDAY EL (Sha-da-ee El), ALMIGHTY GOD.

Exodus 6:3 And I appeared <ra'ah> unto Abraham <'Abraham>, unto Isaac <Yitschaq>, and unto Jacob <Ya`aqob>, by the name of God <'el> Almighty <Shadday>, but by my name <shem> JEHOVAH <Y@hovah> was I not known <yada`> to them.

Psalms 68:4 Sing <shiyr> unto God, <'elohiym> sing praises <zamar> to his name: <shem> extol <calal> him that rideth <rakab> upon the heavens <`arabah> by his name <shem> JAH, <Yahh> and rejoice <`alaz> before <paniym> him.

To the Christian, He is ABBA, an affectionate Hebrew term for 'Daddy.'

Mark 14:36 And he said, abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, abba, Father.

Galatians 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, abba, Father.

Appearance[edit]

The FATHER is clothed in snow-white clothing with hair like purest wool and a throne like a fiery flame. (Daniel 7:9) Millions stand around Him serving Him, and there is a fiery stream coming forth from before Him. (Daniel 7:10)

Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

MAKER OF SPIRITS[edit]

All spirits stem from GOD THE FATHER, including those of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. GOD THE FATHER is truly the ETERNAL BEING, and ULTIMATE ORIGINATOR of all that exists. HE is so powerful that if HE ever decided to, HE could simply cause everything to stop existing by withdrawing HIS breath from mankind and causing everyone and everything to crumble back into dust, for all spirits come from HIM. (Job 34:14-15; Ecclesiastes 12:7) HE controls the very breath of life by which anyone can exist.

Job 34:14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

Ecclesiastes 12:1 ¶ Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:
3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,
4 And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;
5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:
6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

By comparison, even the powers of Jesus HIS Son and the Holy Spirit are not worth noting, indeed they received their powers from HIM, and came forth from HIM.

INVISIBLE SPIRIT[edit]

GOD THE FATHER is an INVISIBLE SPIRIT, who can only be seen spiritually for HE remains in spiritual form. HE is the SOURCE of all spirits and SUSTAINER OF ALL LIFE AND BREATH.

1 Timothy 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Jesus is Declared to be HIS Image[edit]

GOD THE FATHER has declared Jesus to be HIS Son and spitting image of who HE is and what HE is like.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Known Through Jesus[edit]

No one knows the FATHER but Jesus, and those who Jesus reveals HIM to.

Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
Higher Thoughts than Mankind[edit]

This is because the FATHER'S thoughts are higher than those of mankind. People focus on material things, sexual lusts, foods to satisfy their stomachs, and physical pleasures. GOD'S thoughts are of holiness, purity, love, righteousness, and justice perpetually even as HE surrounds Himself with the pure and keeps the wicked from HIM, a level of holiness alien to mankind.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Will be Ultimately Honored[edit]

After every knee bows to Jesus, then Jesus Himself will bow the knee to GOD THE FATHER.

1 Corinthians 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

THE CREATOR[edit]

Although GOD THE FATHER allowed Jesus to create everything, it was through His own power. GOD THE FATHER is the CREATOR. (Ecclesiastes 12:1)

RULER OF CREATION[edit]

Heaven is GOD'S throne and Earth is HIS footstool. HE has need of nothing.

Psalms 50:7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.
8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices Or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, Nor he goats out of thy folds.
10 For every beast of the forest is mine, And the cattle upon a thousand hills.
11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: And the wild beasts of the field are mine.
12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: For the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, Or drink the blood of goats?
14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; And pay thy vows unto the most High:
15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Eternal, THE ANCIENT OF DAYS[edit]

GOD THE FATHER is eternal. HE is the only ONE that always existed, and HE always will exist, everything else exists only because HE allows it to.

Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL[edit]

GOD THE FATHER went before the Israelites, leading them safely through the wilderness, shaking the Earth before HIM and scattering kings in front of HIM. HE is the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL (Isaiah 41:14-17) As summarized in Psalms 78, HE split the seas so the Israelites could escape from Egypt, destroying Pharaoh's army, after HE destroyed the Egyptians with plagues to force Pharaoh to let them leave. HE made water come from the rocks, and the food of angels, manna, fall from Heaven to feed them, leading them to Mount Sinai which HE had purchased with the power of HIS right hand in battle. (v. 54) Time and again the Israelites did evil and rejected GOD, causing HIM to punish them with numerous captivities and destruction, yet each time HE had mercy, restoring and healing them.

Psalms 68:7 ¶ O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:
8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.
10 Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.
11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.
12 Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.
13 Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.
14 When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.

Isaiah 41:20 That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.

Psalms 78:12 Marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.
13 He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as an heap.
14 In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.
15 He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths.
16 He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.
17 And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness.
18 And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust.
19 Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?
20 Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?
21 Therefore the LORD heard this, and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;
22 Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:
23 Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven,
24 And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.
25 Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.
26 He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind.
27 He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea:
28 And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations.
29 So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire;
30 They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat was yet in their mouths,
31 The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.
32 For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works.
33 Therefore their days did he consume in vanity, and their years in trouble.
34 When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and enquired early after God.
35 And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.
36 Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues.
37 For their heart was not right with him, neither were they stedfast in his covenant.
38 But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.
39 For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.
40 ¶ How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!
41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.
42 They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.
43 How he had wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan:
44 And had turned their rivers into blood; and their floods, that they could not drink.
45 He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.
46 He gave also their increase unto the caterpiller, and their labour unto the locust.
47 He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost.
48 He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.
49 He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.
50 He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;
51 And smote all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of their strength in the tabernacles of Ham:
52 But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.
53 And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.
54 And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased.
55 He cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.
56 Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies:
57 But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.
58 For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.
59 When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:
60 So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent which he placed among men;
61 And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy's hand.
62 He gave his people over also unto the sword; and was wroth with his inheritance.
63 The fire consumed their young men; and their maidens were not given to marriage.
64 Their priests fell by the sword; and their widows made no lamentation.
65 Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine.
66 And he smote his enemies in the hinder parts: he put them to a perpetual reproach.
67 Moreover he refused the tabernacle of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim:
68 But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.
69 And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever.
70 He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:
71 From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.
72 So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.

GOD is Love[edit]

GOD THE FATHER is Love, all Love stems from HIM.

1 John 4:7 ¶ Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Expressed HIS Love by Sending HIS Son to Earth[edit]

THE FATHER showed His goodwill towards, and love for mankind by sending HIS Son Jesus to Earth.

1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Expressed HIS Love by Giving HIS Spirit to Christians[edit]

1 John 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
14 ¶ And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Rescued Jesus from Hell[edit]

GOD THE FATHER went down into Hell to save Jesus after the Crucifixion, because the armies of Hell were too strong for Him to fight alone.

Psalms 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Psalms 16:8 ¶ I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalms 49:15 ¶ But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.

Psalms 18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.
8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.
10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
12 At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.
13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.
14 Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.
15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.
17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.
18 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
20 ¶ The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
22 For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.
23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
24 Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

Healed Jesus[edit]

Jesus was healed by GOD THE FATHER:

Psalms 30:2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

PROTECTOR of the Righteous Who Trust in HIM[edit]

THE FATHER protects the righteous who trust in HIM.

Psalms 5:11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: Let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; With favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Psalms 7:10 My defence is of God, Which saveth the upright in heart.

Psalms 9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble.
10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: For thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Psalms 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: For thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

Sees Everything from Heaven[edit]

Everything is Visible to HIM[edit]

Nothing is hidden from GOD THE FATHER, who sees everything in Heaven, Earth, Hell, and the entire universe.

Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, Beholding the evil and the good.

Psalms 139:7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, And thy right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; Even the night shall be light about me.
12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; But the night shineth as the day: The darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
13 For thou hast possessed my reins: Thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvellous are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, When I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; And in thy book all my members were written, Which in continuance were fashioned, When as yet there was none of them.

Ecclesiastes 5:8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.

Laughs at Rulers Rebelling[edit]

GOD and those with HIM laugh at the rulers of the Earth rebelling against HIM and Jesus, HIS Annointed Son.

Psalms 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

Lives in a Holy Temple[edit]

GOD THE FATHER lives in a Holy Temple far from Earth "above the Heavens."

Psalms 5:7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: And in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

Psalms 8:1O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

Psalms 11:4 The LORDis in his holy temple, The LORD's throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

No Evil or Foolish Allowed Near[edit]

Psalms 5:4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness:
Neither shall evil dwell with thee.
5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: Thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: The LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

Only the Godly and Humble Allowed[edit]

Psalms 4:3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: The LORD will hear when I call unto him.

Judges Righteousness from His Throne[edit]

Psalms 9:4For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; Thou satest in the throne judging right.
7 But the LORD shall endure for ever:He hath prepared his throne for judgment.

Tests All Hearts to Find the Righteous and Godly[edit]

GOD tests all hearts, seeking to determine which are righteous and godly.

Psalms 7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: For the righteous God Trieth the hearts and reins.

Pure Words[edit]

Psalms 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: As silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, Thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Hates the Wicked[edit]

THE FATHER hates the wicked and is angry at them every day. (Psalms 7:11)

Psalms 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day.

Ignores Their Prayers[edit]

THE FATHER ignores the prayers of the wicked which persecute the poor.

Isaiah 1:15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; 17learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Ignored by Mankind[edit]

People do not seek after THE FATHER or attempt to know HIM or HIS ways.

Job 35:10 but none saith, Where is God my maker, Who giveth songs in the night;
11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, And maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?

Psalms 14:2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, And seek God.
3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: There is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Pleasing GOD[edit]

Avoid Sinners, Keep HIS Commandments[edit]

Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Repent[edit]

Although GOD once ignored idolatrous ignorance (KJV 'winked at' or i.e. rolled HIS eyes at) HE now commands all to repent.

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
